It's defintely not the person who is important, it's the memories. When you become close with someone and eventually get into fight, you can wish for that someone to die. Or you can wish that you shouldn't have met that person. But you can't fully wish to delete all your memories with that person because you know, it's all important. Now, if it's really the memories that are important, why are you afraid to lose someone? Because you're afraid that you can no longer make more memories with that person. Whatever happens, even if the person dies, you will move on. It's not the dead body of the person that hurts you, it's the moments you've shared. It's not the death glares and stingy words that pains you, it's the fact that you were once so close and for a moment or two, you can no longer be that close. It's painful to know that fact that no one values you because you're a person. Many people values you because you're a friend, a classmate, a daughter. But a nobody will not value you as much as somebody does. It's so damn true that it hurts. It has always been the memories with the person and not the person itself. If you have an amnesia and a person you can't remember shows up, you'll be clueless on how to react. But when you remember the memories you've had with the person, you'll realize how important that person is.
